NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- The Delaware State women's lacrosse program was honored as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the 2021-22 academic year.
To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Additionally, seven Hornets were named to the 2022 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. Representing Delaware State on the honor roll were
Aniya Aiken, Molysha Brown,
Emily Campanelli,
Dorian Coehins,
Nina Dillard,
Gwenna Gentle and
Taylor Steed.
The IWLCA honored 1,013 student-athletes from 106 different institutions on the 2022 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
