Norfolk, Va. (May 20, 2021) --- Dover, Del. (May 14, 2021) --- Delaware State is well represented on the 2020-21 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Commissioner's All-Academic Baseball Team.
A total of 16 Hornets have been recognized by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for their work in the classroom this year.

John Weglarz and Michael Worthington are among 96 student-athletes from the conference's baseball-playing institutions that competed this season who have cited for their work in the classroom this past academic year.
MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.
"I want to congratulate our softball student-athletes, who maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average," MEAC Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas said. "The ultimate goal is to develop and graduate our student-athletes to be productive citizens in our society."
