Dover, Del. (Mar. 1, 2021) --- The Delaware State women's lacrosse team begins its Southern Conference schedule with a home game against Mercer at Alumni Stadium (1:00 p.m.).  The game begins a stretch of four straight at home for the Hornets.
DSU is 1-5 on the season, with the lone win coming at home. The Hornets defeated Wilmington (Del.) 22-13 in their only other home contest this season on Mar. 23.
Mercer is 2-4 overall, but 1-0 in the league with a 20-5 victory over Wofford in its SoCon opener on Mar. 19.
Gwenna Gentle (so.) is Delaware State's top scorer with 12 goals and two assists for 14 points, Rossella Nardi (fr.) is second on the team with eight goals and 12 points. Nardi scored the Hornets' two goals vs. Liberty in the last outing on Mar. 26.
