Dover, Del. Mar. 26, 2016) --- Wagner scored 10 goals in the first nine minutes and never looked back in a 20-3 win over Delaware State in the Hornets' 2016 home finale at Alumni Stadium.
Junior Iman Hassan scored each of Delaware State's goals to give her a team-high 20 for the season.
Stephanie Peterson came off the bench to lead the Seahawks with four goals. Peterson also had an assists to tie for game-high honors with five points.
Shea Gegan tallied three scores and added two assists to also record five points.
A total of 11 players had at least one goal for the Hawks.
Wagner led 12-0 at the half.
The Hornets trailed 14-0 when Hassan scored her first goal of the game at the 19:05 mark of the second half. She also scored with 6:50 and 3:57 left to play.
Hassan's 20 goals rank second in team history for a season. Emily Etkins holds the Hornet record with 28 scores in 2015.
DSU seniors Rhian Sellers and Miranda Hawkins were honored prior to today's contest.
Delaware State has two games remaining this season, beginning with a visit to Long Island on Tuesday (Mar. 29). Game time is 4 p.m. in Brooklyn, N.Y.
