Detroit, Mich. (Mar. 13, 2016) --- Fourteen players scored at least one goal in Detroit's 22-1 victory over Delaware State today. Brittany Feeney came off the bench to tally three goals, while six players scored two each to lead the Titans to their second win of the season (2-4). The Hornets dropped their second straight to fall to 2-5.
Detroit scored the game's first goal 30 seconds into the contest. The Titans added 15 scores over the next 24 minutes to open up a 16-0 lead.
Lauren Perry recorded the Hornets' lone goal with 1:42 left in the first period to give Detroit a 16-1 lead at the half. Perry is fourth on the team with eight goals and 10 points this season.
Feeney scored three of the Titans' six second period goals.
The Hornets were outshot 32-7 in the contest.
Delaware State begins a two-game homestand next Sunday (Mar. 20) against St. Francis. Game time is 1 p.m. at Alumni Stadium. DSU will play its 2016 home finale at 2 p.m. the following Saturday (Mar. 26) vs. Wagner.
