TEANECK, N.J. --J. Savinon and N. Noble combined to throw a shutout on Sunday as the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights blanked the Delaware State Hornets 5-0.
Nathan Vidmar (1-4) started and took the loss on the mound for Delaware State (3-19, 2-10). B. Boyd was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings while allowing two hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Delaware State did not advance a runner past second base in the game. The Hornets went 0-for-2 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the seventh, when Alec Rodriguez made it into scoring position with one out.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
