2025 - Freshman
Boyd played in 36 games and started 29. He posted a .232 batting average with 22 hits, 18 runs, six doubles (third on the team), one triple (tied for team lead), one home run, and eight RBIs. He drew 13 walks and recorded 44 putouts. On the mound, Boyd made seven relief appearances, pitching 9.2 innings with a 2.07 WHIP and seven strikeouts. He earned one save, tying for the team lead. Notable performances include a two-RBI game against Norfolk State on May 10 and a multi-hit outing versus Coppin State on April 20.

High School: Boyd was a three-time All-Conference selection and earned All-State honors once at Middletown High School. He helped lead his team to the state quarterfinals and was recognized for his versatility and competitive edge on both sides of the ball.
