MEAC Announces Weekly Softball Honors

NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 25, 2025 – Delaware State junior Emma Crowe has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Player of the Week. 

Crowe (Jr., INF, Dover, Del.) collected a .545 batting average during a 3-2 week for the Hornets. Crowe tallied six hits in 11 at-bats, driving in three RBI, scoring two runs while hitting two doubles and one homerun. She hit one double each in the first and third games against Bucknell and blasted a homerun in the second game of the series. Crowe averaged at least three hits in each game throughout the Bucknell series. 


Other Top Performers  

• Kristin White (Delaware State) allowed five earned runs on nine hits in 13 innings pitched for a 2.69 ERA while striking out seven batters.
