DOVER – The Lady Hornets collected a total of 30 academic honors from the 2024 APHA National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) on the First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention, and Honor Roll lists.

6 Hornets were placed on the First Team List, while 3 made Second Team, and Megan Winborne made Honorable Mention. 

In addition, 20 Hornets made the Honor Roll. 

First-team members needed to compete in a minimum of 70 percent of their school's meets and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.

Second-team members must have competed in at least 60 percent of their school's meets and earned a GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.

The top academic student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters were eligible for the honor roll.

The Lady Hornets finished their overall 2023-2024 season with a record of 4-5 and had a record of 4-4 in conference play.
