WACO, Texas - Delaware State equestrian senior Olivia Brown earned a spot on the Ariat NCEA All-America First Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Brown, a Jumping Seat rider, adds to her impressive resume, as this is her fourth All-America selection in four years at Delaware State. She was named to the All-America Second Team in Fences twice (2021-22 and 2023-24), and she was a 2022-23 All-America Honorable Mention in Flat.

The following criteria determines Ariat NCEA All-Americans:

• Must have a 67% winning percentage or higher (excluding ties)
• Must have competed in a minimum of 67% of the team's NCEA qualifying regular season meets
• Have an adjusted NRS score of at least:
  • 85 for Flat
  • 90 for Fences
  • 80 for Horsemanship
  • 75 for Reining

Outside of receiving her fourth All-America nod, Brown took home two Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) awards for the 2024-25 season: ECAC Fences Rider of the Year, and All-Conference Fences.

To begin this season, Brown, a native of Berlin, Md., dominated in the fall. She averaged an 86.4 in Fences across five meets, the last three of which included back-to-back-to-back MOPs. She averaged a 79.8 in Flat, again grabbing three MOPs (non-consecutive). Her season-high in the fall was an 89 in Fences and an 82 in Flat, both of which came against Tennessee Martin (11/15).

In six spring meets, Brown averaged a 78.6 in Fences and a 67.8 in Flat. Her season-high for the spring in Fences was an 84 against UC-Davis (1/24) and an 83 in Flat against Southern Methodist (2/22).

The Hornets finished their 2024-25 season at 3-8 (3-3 NCEA). They were defeated by UC-Davis in the ECAC Championship on March 28.
