DOVER, Del. - Delaware State equestrian placed 10 student-athletes on the APHA All-Academic Teams, and 11 made the Honor Roll.
The All-Academic First Team included
Claire Andrews,
Aniela Cortina,
Ashley Grasso,
Bailey Henderson,
Grace Mangrum,
Anna Payne, and
Chloey Prichard.
Estella Estus was the lone student-athlete for the Second Team. The two Honorable Mentions were
Victoria Croston and
Paityn Holm.
The Hornets also had 11 names on the NCEA Honor Roll, including
McKenzie Elkins,
Sarah Hoffmeyer,
Megan Winborne, Andrews, Cortina, Estus, Grasso, Henderson, Mangrum, Prichard, and Payne.
Members of the First Team need to compete in a minimum of 70 percent of their meets and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively. Members of the Second Team have relatively the same criteria as the First Team, except that the minimums are 60 percent of meets and a 3.25 GPA.
The top academic student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters were eligible for the Honor Roll.
Delaware State equestrian went 3-8 (3-3 NCEA) in 2024-25. They were defeated in the ECAC Championship by UC-Davis on March 28.
