WACO, Texas - Delaware State equestrian was honored with the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Sportsmanship Award on Thursday, as announced by the conference office.

When describing the award, the NCEA noted that Delaware State displayed "...great attitudes and welcoming spirits home and away."

The Hornets went 3-8 (3-3 NCEA) in 2024-25. They were consistently ranked #9 in six of the initial seven NCEA polls. Their season concluded in the ECAC Championship Semifinals on March 28 vs. UC Davis.
