Pittsburgh, PA – The Delaware State Women's Triathlon program competed in the Duquesne Invitational Collegiate Cup outside of Brady's Run Park.

The invitational was highlighted by top-20 finishes from Rebecca Jansen and Ava Larkin, helping the Hornets secure third place overall.
Former Patriots Triathlon winner and freshman Rebecca Jansen made her debut at the Duquesne Invitational Collegiate Cup, striding through the competition to take 14th place with a final time of 1:06:14.89. Jansen paced herself at 6:30 per mile and averaged 22.1 mph on the bike, recording a bike split of 32:03.7.
Senior Ava Larkin earned her spot in the top 20 with a 7:26 pace while powering through the course at 23.8 mph. She finished with a final time of 1:06:49.07.
Lison Zeigler (1:08:37.16), Reut Shahar (1:11:24.57), and Galia Nahle Herrera (1:18:48.02) closed out the race for the Hornets with finishes in the top 25–50 out of 93 student-athletes.
