Jansen's victory was built on incredible consistency across all three disciplines and blazing-fast transitions that kept her at the front of the pack. She set the tone early in the water, completing the swim segment in 08:02.54. While slightly trailing early swim leaders, Jansen kept herself in perfect striking distance. After a lightning-fast 29-second first transition (T1), Jansen took to the bike course. In a draft-legal format, positioning is everything, and she executed perfectly. She clocked a total bike time of 30:38.47, averaging close to 22 mph across her four laps, with her fastest lap coming in at 07:34.14.

The race was ultimately decided on the pavement. Following a clean 30-second T2, Jansen dropped the hammer on the run course. She posted a blistering 17:56.81 run split, averaging a 5:47/mile pace, which was the fastest run of the day among the leaders. This late surge allowed her to overtake the competition and secure an 11-second margin of victory over Navy's Wang. Jansen's performance highlights a strong showing for Delaware State University early in the collegiate triathlon season, cementing her as a top competitor to watch in the NCAA draft-legal circuit.
