The Delaware State University women's triathlon team delivered a standout performance at the 2026 Navy Collegiate Cup, securing a top-five team finish while being anchored by a podium appearance from Rebecca Jansen.

Competing against a tough national field, Jansen paced the Hornets with an exceptional race, crossing the finish line to earn third place overall. During the post-race awards ceremony outside the Melville Entrance, Jansen was presented with her third-place Navy Collegiate Cup wooden plaque. She stood proudly on the podium alongside the event's individual champion in red and the second-place finisher from the University of San Francisco.

Jansen's individual success was instrumental in bolstering Delaware State's position in the final team standings.
