BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — The Delaware State women's triathlon team placed fourth at the Duquesne University Division 1 Cup Race on Sunday, Aug. 30.
The Hornets were led by
Rebecca Jansen, who secured an eighth-place finish with a swim time of 10:25.86, a 1:16 transition and a bike time of 1:25.70.
Teagan Yurocko followed with a 29th-place finish, recording a 10:53.28 swim, 1:20 transition and 1:28.32 bike time.
Madison Petersen finished 30th with a 11:57.65 swim, 1:27 transition and 1:37.94 bike time.
Reut Shahar placed 34th overall with a 11:24.42 swim, 1:23 transition and 1:35.90 bike time, while
Akemy Corrales Retana finished 37th with a 11:55.55 swim, 1:27 transition and 1:32.54 bike time.
Sophia Jones rounded out the Hornets' finishers in 47th place, posting a 12:20.75 swim, 1:30 transition and 1:43.58 bike time.
Up Next: The Hornets will compete in the Robious Landing Triathlon on September 20th in Richmond, VA.
