NORFOLK, VA -- On March, 10, 2025, The MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) announced their last weekly awards for the 2024-25 Men's Basketball season before the tournament. The MEAC presented by Coca-Cola has announced DSU guard, Robert Smith as the Player of the Week. 

From the city of brotherly love, Robert Smith displayed a stellar performance in the past two remaining games of the season. Smith totaled 60 points, four rebounds, nine steals and three assists for Delaware State. He scored a career high of 34 points against Morgan State showcasing his offensive ability from all areas of the floor, while collecting four steals to create some defensive stops for the Hornets. The Philadelphia native, tallied in 26 points with five steals, four rebounds and two assists while shooting 9 -of-12 from the field.
