ROBINSON, MUNIZ EARN MEAC POST-SEASON HONORS

Dover, Del. (Mar. 7, 2023) --- Delaware State guards Martaz Robinson (jr. Baltimore, Md.) and  Jevin Muniz (fr.; Bethlehem, Pa.) have earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) post-season honors for their play during the 2022-2023 regular year. Robinson has been selected to the 2022-23 All-MEAC Third Team, while Muniz is an All-Rookie honoree, in voting by league head coaches and sports information representatives and announced during the league's annual award ceremony this evening. Robinson is tops on the Hornets and ninth in the MEAC in scoring at 11.8 points per game this season. He's also eighth in the league in rebounding (5.6 pg) and assists (2.7 pg), seventh in steals and third in free throw percentage (.826) during the regular season.  Muniz averaged 7.5 points per game to rank fifth on the Hornets during the regular season. He also ranks14th in the MEAC in assists (2.3 pg) and 18th in steals (1.2 pg) this season. Delaware State is seeded seventh in the 2023 MEAC Men's Basketball Tournament, which gets underway on Mar. 8 at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va. The Hornets will face No. 2 North Carolina Central in tournament quarterfinals on Mar. at 8:00 p.m.
