Dover, Del. (Sep. 28, 2022) --- The Delaware State/Robert Morris football contest scheduled for Sat. evening (Oct. 1) at DSU's Alumni Stadium is still on, although university officials are keeping a watchful eye on Hurricane Ian.
"As of today (Sep. 28), Saturday's home football game is still on," said Delaware State Director of Athletics Alecia Shields-Gadson. "Of course, we are following the latest reports from the National Weather Service and have contingency plans if necessary."
As of today, the National Weather Service forecast for Saturday in the Dover, Del., area calls for periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms likely all day and night Saturday. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds will be northeast at 15-20 mph with gusts of 30 mph possible.
