DELAWARE STATE SOFTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES HONORED FOR THEIR CLASSROOM SUCCESS

Dover, Del. (May 22, 2022) ---  Thirteen members of Delaware State's 2022 softball team have been honored by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for their work in the classroom.
The MEAC has announced its 2022 Softball All-Academic selections, honoring 94 student-athletes from the conference's eight member institutions who have achieved academic success.
MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.
"Congratulations to our indoor track & field All-Academic student-athletes," MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills said. "Education is the cornerstone of everything we do, both at the conference level and in intercollegiate athletics as a whole. Academic achievement is just as worthy of praise as anything accomplished in competition, if not more so."
