Aiden Weber (so.; Pottstown, Pa.) have been honored by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) for their performances in the Hornets' 27-24 overtime victory at South Carolina State last weekend.
Wilson was selected as the MEAC Rookie-of-the-Week after nailing each of his two field goal attempts, including an 18-yarder for the game-winning points in overtime, and was 3-for-3 on his extra-point kicks in the contest. Wilson is six-of-eight on field goal attempts this season.
Weber was chosen as the MEAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week after tallying a game-high 11 tackles (9 solo) and four backfield stops (-9) in the victory at SC State.
For the season, Weber is third on the Hornets and 12th in the MEAC in tackles at 5.3 per game (37 total), and tied for second on the team with 24 solo tackles and tied for the team lead with 7.5 tackles for loss.
The Hornets return to action this Saturday (Nov. 12) at home against Morgan State. Kick-off is set for 2:02 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.
