Hornets tabbed as third seed in MEAC Volleyball Championship

NORFOLK, Va. --- The Delaware State women's volleyball team earned the third seed in the 2022 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Championship as announced by the league earlier today.
 
Delaware State will host the 2022 MEAC Volleyball Championship starting Friday with top-seed Coppin State taking on No. 8 South Carolina State University at 11:30 a.m. No. 4 Norfolk State will face off against No. 5 University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the second match of the day scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
 
In the evening slate of matches, No. 2 Howard University will go up against No. 7 Morgan State University at 5:30 p.m. with No. 3 Delaware State University squaring off with No. 6 North Carolina Central University at 8:30 p.m.
 
Semifinal-Saturday will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the winners of match one and match two followed by the winners of match three and four starting at 8:30 p.m.
