Felton, Del. (Oct. 29, 2021)---Jordan Wicklund (soph.) swept both Most Outstanding Performer awards to lead the Delaware State equestrian team to a 6-2 victory over Sweet Briar in a Jumping Seat only competition at Dovington Training Center today.
Wicklund was the top rider in DSU's 3-1 Fences victory in Fences with a score of 85 aboard "Cici."
Miranda MCarthy (84) and Victoria Croston (81) also rode to Fences for the Hornets today.
Wicklund turned in another scintillating performance on the Flat today, topping all riders with a season-high score of 93 to earn MOP honors in the event for the second day in a row. She also earned the award for her Flat performance against Lynchburg yesterday.
Gabrielle Fournier also had a stellar performance on the Flat with a score of 92.5 to earn a point for DSU, while Croston collected her second win of the day with a Flat score of 91 in the Hornets' 3-1 victory in the event.
