DSU REMEMBERS FORMER HORNET, 9/11 HERO KEITH GLASCOE

Delaware State University honors the life and memory of former Hornet defensive lineman Keith Glascoe ('85), who died in the Sep. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center while serving as a New York City firefighter. He was 38 years old. Today marks the 18th anniversary of the attacks.

Glascoe was a star at Midwood High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., before attending Springfield College in Massachusetts for two years. He later transferred to Delaware State College, competing for the Hornets and earning a degree Business Administration.

Following graduation, Glascoe he participated in the New York Jets football training camp. He also enjoyed an acting career before joining the New York City Fire Department.
