NORFOLK, Va., Dec. 27, 2018—Delaware State senior NaJai Pollard was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced yesterday.Pollard (5-11, F, Sr., Richmond, Va.) had yet another monster game this past week, dropping a season-high 36 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the Hornets' heartbreaking loss at Robert Morris this past Tuesday. It was her third 30-point game of the season and her fourth double-double. Pollard also had her best single-game shooting percentage against Robert Morris, hitting 16 of her 21 field goals (.762).

This is Pollard's second player of the week honors so far this season.
