Dover, Del. (Nov. 22, 2011) --- Delaware State University quarterback Nick Elko (r-jr.; Odenton, Md.) is among four players selected for Heritage Sports Radio Network FCS National Player-of-the Week consideration.
Elko completed 28- of- 44 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns in the Hornets' 39-36 win over Howard in the season finale at Alumni Stadium last Saturday.
The top performance each week is selected by Black College football fans across the country through the SRN website. The Fan Poll is designed to get fans involved with the excitement of HBCU college football action. Fans can log on to HSRN.com and cast their vote for the top performance. Fanscan vote on this week's poll runs until Wednesday (Nov. 23) until 11 am CT.
