HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 25th) - Delaware State Volleyball won their fourth straight match, and moved to 5-1 in the MEAC with a 3-0 sweep of the Hampton Lady Pirates (25-20, 26-24, 25-22) on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Hampton University.
"It was a good win for us," said head coach Renee Arnold. "We didn't play up to potential, but we'll only go up from here. We need to get better by the tournament, but I think we're on the right path to get to where we want to be."
The statistics for the match are being finalized, and will be available on dsuhornets.com as soon as they are made available. DSU (15-11, 5-1 MEAC) next takes to the court on Friday against UMES, the only MEAC team to defeat them so far this season. That match from Princess Anne, Maryland will have streaming available, linked from DSUHornets.com.
