Philadelphia, PA --- The Delaware State softball team mustered just two hits in a 14-0 loss at Temple on Tuesday. The Hornets dropped their fifth straight to fall to 10-9 on the season, while the Owls improved to 5-6. Temple hit 14 hits, including three home runs. Katie Burdeaux was 3-for-4 with two homers and three RBI for the Owls. Temple scored four runs in the second and five in rhe third to open up a 10-0 lead.  The Hornets were hitless until a fifth inning single by Andrea Waters. DSU was also hurt by four errors. The Hornets return to action on Friday (Mar. 21) at home against Vermont. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
