Dover, Del. (Aug. 7, 2019) --- New Delaware State softball coach Jeff Franquet (Frank-ee) is looking for a few good players on campus. DSU females interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 team are invited to attend softball interest meetings on Sep. 4 or 5 at the Conwell Hall Athletics Building on campus. Attendees will fill out compliance and athletics training forms, in addition to obtaining information about the scheduled on-field tryout on Sep. 12 at the Hornets' softball field. Students attending the tryout must wear appropriate clothing, bring cleats and a glove.
