DOVER, DE — The Delaware State women's tennis team fell 1–6 to Morgan State on April 7 at the DSU Tennis Courts. Despite securing a single point, the Hornets were unable to convert their efforts into additional points.
In singles play, Morgan State took control across the lineup, securing five victories, including multiple straight-set wins, to take command of the match.
The Hornets competed in several close matchups, with Hannah Watkins and Sia Mahajan pushing their opponents to three sets, but ultimately could not convert those efforts into points.
Delaware State's lone point came from Lucia Casas Blas, as Morgan State completed the 6–1 victory. The Hornets also struggled in doubles competition despite brilliant efforts from the teams of Goldman/Mahajan and Watkins/Bou Safont.
