Scott Earns Second MEAC Rookie of the Week Honor

MEAC Announces Women's Basketball Weekly Awards 
 
NORFOLK, Va., January 5, 2026 – Coppin State guard Khila Morris was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week presented by Wells Fargo.  Delaware State guard Amya Scott was named Rookie of the Week, while Howard forward Nile Miller earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.      
 
Scott (Fr., 5-3, F., Philadelphia, Pa.) contributed 21 points, along with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals against NJIT. She followed that performance with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals versus Coppin State. On the week, Scott averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in two games for Delaware State.

  • Liliana Harrison (DSU) posted 14 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks against NJIT.
