Box Score FAIRFAX, Va. - Delaware State women's tennis halted their four-match losing streak on Thursday afternoon, as they swept the George Mason University Patriots 4-0.

The Hornets took the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung and Lucia Casas Blas got back in the winning column with a 6-1 win. Victoria Linkovski and Brooklyn Bowen took care of their opponents 6-4. Camilla Mitolo and Eva Golembiovski fought hard in a 6-4 defeat.

Delaware State won three singles matches, while the other three were unfinished. Au-Yeung posted scores of 6-2, 6-4. Casas Blas won 6-1, 5-7, 1¹⁰-0⁷. Golembiovski defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-2. Mitolo, Linkovski, and Bowen's matches were unfinished. Mitolo won her first set in a tiebreaker, 7⁷-6⁴.

Overall, it was a 4-0 victory for the Hornets.

The Hornets finish out the regular season on Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. They will travel to Newark, Del. to play the University of Delaware Blue Hens.
