Box Score DOVER, Del. - Even though Delaware State women's tennis fell 7-0 to the Howard University Bison on Tuesday, the Hornets honored their five seniors on Senior Day: Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung, Camilla Mitolo, Eva Golembiovski, Brooklyn Bowen, and Ja'Nayah Pickens.

The Hornets could not secure the doubles point, despite some good efforts. Au-Yeung and Lucia Casas Blas put up a strong fight in a 6-4 decision. The other pairings were Mitolo and Golembiovski, and Victoria Linkovski and Bowen.

Multiple singles matches came down to a third set. Casas Blas won her first set before her opponent won the final two. The result was 6-2, 4-6, 2-6. Au-Yeung's match was similar, but hers went to a third-set tiebreaker. She was defeated 6-2, 5-7, 0⁴-1¹⁰.

Overall, it was a 7-0 victory for Howard.
