Aniyah Smith Earns Second Consecutive Win at Oscar Rowan Moore Invite

Glassboro, NJ -- The Delaware State Women's Track and Field Program continued their season in New Jersey at the Oscar Rowan Moore Invitational. Ā 

The invitational was highlighted by performances from DSU women's Track & Field inĀ very cold, windy and wet condition weather. Ā  Ā 

Freshmen, Aniyah Smith set the pace with her second consecutive win in Javelin; Smith's throw was the season best toss with 38.47 meter mark. Amira Allen continued the race for the Hornets with speed in the women's 200 dash. She finished in third place with a final time ofĀ 26.88 seconds. Mecca Jackson stride in the wind to finish in 4th behind Allen. Jackson finished with a final time ofĀ 27.12. Ashley Lagat, Leonie Pfeiffer, Najwa Bey and Ā Sabreeya Travis secured top 10 finishes to close out the invitational for the Hornets.Ā
