Box Score DOVER, Del. - Delaware State women's tennis could not overcome the Binghamton University Bearcats on Saturday, falling 4-3.
The Bearcats took the doubles point. Delaware State won their lone doubles match with a duo of
Eva Golembiovski and
Brooklyn Bowen. They defeated their opponents 6-4.
Delaware State and Binghamton split their wins in singles.
Lucia Casas Blas won 6-2, 6-1.
Victoria Linkovski had a 6-4 victory in the first set before blanking her opponent 6-0 to finish her match.
Camilla Mitolo went to three sets, going down 1-6 before storming back with 6-3, 6-1 to win a singles point. Bowen had a strong outing in a tough loss (6-4, 6-3).
Overall, it was a 4-3 decision for Binghamton.
