Dover, DE — Strong rides across Jumping Seat and Western propelled Delaware State to a 12-6 home victory over UT Martin.
The Hornets set the tone early over Fences, taking a 2-3 result but grabbing key momentum behind winning rides from
Lily Kosal,
Grace Mangrum and
Sarah Hoffmeyer. Kosal earned a point with an 81 on Dude, Mangrum followed with a 79 on Tito, and Hoffmeyer matched that 81 on Style as Delaware State finished with 384 points to UT Martin's 377 in the event.

Delaware State continued to build in Flat, controlling the rides to secure three of the five possible points.
Emily Firth opened the scoring with a 74.5 on Felon, followed by Madison Wojeck's 75 on Fudge, while
Paityn Holm (73.5 on Maverick) and
Claire Andrews (73.5 on Cinch) added points to cap a 369–358 advantage in raw score. That surge gave the Hornets five Jumping Seat points and set the stage for a strong Western finish.

In Horsemanship, Delaware State's depth showed again as the Hornets claimed four of five points. Wojeck picked up her second point of the day with a 65.5 on Baby,
Estella Estus added a 67 on Aspen, and Andrews posted a 72.5 on Waldo as DSU pulled away on the scoreboard.

Delaware State closed out the meet in Reining, where the Hornets added three more points—from Wojeck, Estus, and Andrews—to secure the 12-6 victory. Beating UT Martin at home was also a major accomplishment for the program, marking Delaware State's first home win over the Skyhawks since the fall of 2023.
