Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C - The Delaware State University women's tennis team had a big 4-3 win over Howards University for the first time in three years in continued MEAC matchups Friday afternoon at Banneker Recreation Center.
In the doubles matches; The Bison swept the Hornets.
The Hornets regrouped and came out in singles collecting wins. Clara Kuehnle, Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung, and Daria Jula all picked up wins in the top three spots. Noelani Lui and Camila Mitolo dropped fell to their opponents in the four and six spot. Klaudija Lisovska defeated Selah Stibbins in a hard-fought 7-6(4), 7-5 match to secure the win.
The Hornets will be back in action Tuesday, April 9 when they face Loyola University. The first serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m
