CARY, North Carolina - The Delaware State University women's tennis team rolled through Coppin State on Thursday morning at Cary Tennis Park.
In the doubles matches; The Hornets secured the point with Eva Golembiovski and Camilla Mitolo 6-0 win over Shakyia Johnson and Kenyange Kaounde.
The Hornets won in all four spots played. Noelani Lui played in a full match defeating Shakyia Johnson on court four (6-0,6-0). Darie Jula won both sets against Alison Azarak with an unfinished third set. Clara Kuehnle and Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung both defeated their opponent in one set but did not have to finish set two.
The Hornets will be back in action on Friday, April 26 to face the winner of Howard and Norfolk. The first serve is set for 9 a.m on ESPN+.
