PINE MOUNTAIN, Georgia – The Delaware State University women's golf team continued their spring season at the 2024 NEC Golf Championship on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After three rounds of competition, the Hornets fought back from eighth place on day one to finish tied for sixth.
Delaware State finished with 316 in round one, 312 in round two, and 320 in round three for a total score of 956.
The Hornets finished 87 strokes behind the champions, Sacred Heart. First-place finisher, Sacred Heart, finished round one with a 282, round two with a 288, and round three with a 299.
After three rounds, Claudia Hofmeister stood tied for 21st. Hofmeister, 238 (77-75-86).
