ATLANTA, Georgia – The Delaware State University women's golf team continued its Fall season at the 40th Annual Thomas W. Dortch Jr. Invitational on Monday and Tuesday after two rounds of competition.
Delaware State finished with a 318 in round one, and on day two, the Hornets posted a 332 in round two, for a total score of 650.
The Hornets were 43 shots behind the leader, Texas Southern University, who finished round one with a 310 and in round two with a 297.  
After two rounds, Morgan Rodriguez stood first. Rodriguez, 143 (70-73).

The Hornets will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for the Lady Blue Hen Invitational. The first tee is set for Saturday, October 18.
