CARY, North Carolina – The Delaware State University women's golf team finished fourth at the 2024 SAS Golf Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at the Prestonwood Country Club after three rounds of competition.

Delaware State, finishing with a 309 in round one, the Hornets posted a 311 in round two, and 325 in round three for a total score of 945. 

The Hornets were 47 shots behind the leader, Alabama State University, who finished round one with a 297, round two with a 298, and a 303 in round three.  

After three rounds, Claudia Hofmeister stood fourth. Hofmeister, 223 (70-75-78).

The Hornets will travel to Katy, Texas for the Eastside Golf Invitational. The first tee is set for Sunday, November 3.
