DOVER - The Delaware State University women's tennis team captured a huge 6-1 win against Morgan State Thursday afternoon on Senior Day at Courtside Tennis Courts. The win secured the Hornets a number two seed in the Conference Championship Tournament!
In the doubles matches; The Hornets swept the Bears to win the point.
Seniors Clara Kuehnle, Daria Jula, and Noelani Lui all picked up wins. Kuehnle defeated Aleksandra Evdokimova on court one, 6-3), (7-6)(5). Lui battled it out on court four, defeating Iva Jankovic, 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-4. Jula defeated Lauryn Hall in a three-set battle, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
The Hornets saw wins on courts two and six to secure the win over the Bears.

The Hornets will be back in action Saturday, April 20 when they face Towson University. The first serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
