CARY, North Carolina - The Delaware State University women's tennis team is back in the winner's column with a 6-1 win over Norfolk State in continued MEAC matchups Saturday morning at Cary Tennis Park. 

In the doubles matches; The Hornets got the doubles point.

Delaware State dominated in singles with wins in five out of the six spots. Clara Kuehnle got the win on court two, defeating Irena Loana Lurea, (6-2), (6-0). Kit Yi Kaye Au Yeung dropped to Gabriela Davidescu on court one. Camila Mitolo defeated Sabina Maria Iurea on court 5. Brooklyn snagged a win on court six. The Hornets saw wins in the third and fourth spots to secure the match. 

The Hornets are back in action Sunday against South Carolina State in Cary, North Carolina to continue Conference play at 3:00 p.m.
