CARY, North Carolina - The Delaware State University women's tennis team dropped 5-2 to South Carolina State in continued MEAC matchups Sunday afternoon at Cary Tennis Park.
In the doubles matches; The Hornets got the doubles point.
Delaware State had a tough time in singles with only one win in the five sixth spot. Camilla Mitolo got the win on court six, defeating Feriel Mahbouli Feriel, (6-4), (6-3). Kit Yi Kaye Au Yeung dropped to Chursina Sofiya on court one. The Hornets fell on courts two through five, allowing the Bulldogs to pick up the win.
The Hornets will hit the road Tuesday, March 26 to play Temple University. The first serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
