Softball Drops Game Three Against Morgan State

DOVER, DE --Morgan State won the series Sunday with a 5-2 victory over Delaware State.

Freshman Kristin White started and took the loss in the circle for Delaware State (7-11).

In the batter's box, the Hornets were paced by Uxua Modrego Lopez, who went 4-for-3 on the day and an RBI. 

The Hornets struggled to get something going in the first two innings, where the Bears scored four runs in the second. The Hornets saw light in the third and fifth innings but wasn't enough to move past the Bears.

The Hornets will return to action Saturday, March 23 when they travel to Coppin State University in a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
