Tennis Picks Up Sixth Win of the Season Against Wilmington University

DOVER - The Delaware State University women's tennis team is back on a winning streak with a 5-2 win over Wilmington University on Saturday afternoon at Courtside Pickleball and Tennis Courts. 

In the doubles matches; The Hornets got the doubles point.

Delaware State battled in singles with wins in four out of the six spots. Clara Kuehnle started things off on court one, defeating Valentina Ivankovic , (6-1), (6-3). Daria Jula dropped to Kush Khandoji on court 2, (6-1), (6-7), (0-1)(9). Noelani Lui, Klaudija Lisovska, and Camila Mitolo picked up wins on courts three, four, and five to give the Hornets the win. 

The Hornets are back in action Saturday against North Carolina Central in Cary, North Carolina to start Conference play at 12:00 p.m.
