FELTON, Del. - Although Delaware State equestrian split their two home meets last weekend,
Olivia Brown made history for the Hornets.
Brown, a senior, competed four times over the weekend. In the process, she became the first rider in Delaware State equestrian history to earn four points and win four Most Outstanding Performer awards.
In addition, Brown competed in both equitation over fences and on the flat, earning her points in both.
The Hornets hosted the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks and the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits across Nov. 15-16.
Against Tennessee Martin, Brown earned a point and MOP with a score of 89 in Fences. She won over her opponent by seven points. Delaware State's lone point in Flat came from Brown, who scored an 82. That MOP performance was a nine-point victory over her opponent.
