NORFOLK, Va. --- The Delaware State women's track & field team completed the third and final day of the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

As a team, Delaware State finished in fourth place overall with a total of 92.50 points.
Â
Annalise Bond completed the individual event championship sweep after she cleared a height of 3.50 meters (11 feet, 5.75 inches).

Catherine Glenn took third in the 100-Meter Hurdles with a time of 13.57 seconds while
Chidubem Okwudibonye placed fourth in the 400-Meter Hurdles after she clocked a time of 1:00.47.

The team of
Khaliyah White,
Catherine Glenn,
Aaliyah Robinson and
Lakendra Harpe took third place in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay with a time of 46.17 seconds while the team of
Lakendra Harpe,
Chidubem Okwudibonye,
Khaliyah White and
Kortney Brown also took third in the 4 x 400 Meter Relay with a time of 3:47.79.

Catherine Glenn also brought home another bronze medal in the Javelin Throw with a final distance of 36.64 meters (113 feet, 8 inches).

In the short distance events,
Lakendra Harpe placed fourth in the 400-Meter Dash with a time of 54.98 seconds while
Khaliyah White took eighth place in the 100-Meter Dash with a time of 12.33 seconds.

The distance events were highlighted by the performacnes of
Ashley Lagat in the 5000-Meter Run who came in fifth place with a time of 19:35.08 while
Danielle Fleurima came in sixth place in the 1500-Meter Run with a time of 5:09.55.
