Dover, Del. (Apr. 12, 2023) --- Delaware State won five of six singles matches and swept three doubles contests to defeat New Jersey City 6-1 in women's tennis today. Daria Julia (No. 1) and Ja'Nayah Pickens (No. 6) each posted 6-1, 6-0 singles wins, while Klaudija Lisovska (No. 2) and Baluck Deang (No. 3) also won in straight sets. Lisovska posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory, while Deang was a 6-2, 6-2 winner. Delaware State's Basma Raja won the No. 4 singles contest  6-4, 6-7, 10-7.
Lisovska and Deang also teamed up for a 7-6 victory at No. 1 doubles, Raja and Lucia Corte were 7-5 winners at No. 2 doubles, while Pickens and Noelani Lui completed the doubles sweep for the Hornets with a 6-2 victory at No. 3
