NORFOLK, Va. --- Delaware State sophomore pole vaulter Annalise Bond was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league earlier this afternoon.
 
The league-leading pole vaulter set a new season-high mark in said event this past weekend at the Gallaudet Bison Classic after she topped out at a height of 3.44 meters (11 feet, 3.5 inches) and claim her first individual event win of the outdoor season.
 
Both men's and women's track & field teams return to action on Saturday at home for the Sting Invite that Delaware State will host within the confines of Alumni Stadium.
